Summer Sun: Part one, Summer Parties!

Summer parties will be in full swing this year with the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in just under a month time! So without a moments hesitation lets get on with some of my favourite outfits for parties!

Starting us off is our Tess Dress, she's elegant and retro, available in Black and Hot Pink.

The Tess Dress is a seductive swing dress with delightful crotchet lace short sleeves, neckline and lower skirt. Down from the lovely sweetheart neckline, Tess has a fitted waist the flows out into a 50's style flared skirt (for more poof she can be worn with a petticoat). Made from soft cotton with stretch this stunning dress is sure to be a show stopper this season.
My favourite thing about our Tess dresses? Well it has to be that crotchet lace details, it's something a little different but also gives those of us that aren't as keen on our arms a bit of coverage. Plus she can be worn for more than one occasion by simply changing the accessories around.
Our second outfit is the True Love Jumpsuit!
Could this jumpsuit be the summer love your looking for?
Guess what, this jumpsuit has pockets!
Now that I've gotten the most important bit of information across. Our True Love Jumpsuit is honestly so lovely. She's an all in one black jumpsuit with rainbow coloured polka dot hearts, a touch of glamour with chiffon ties at the shoulders and very good news for those of us that over indulge at elasticated waist with a removable belt.
The True Love Jumpsuit is a loose-fitting super comfy culottes, no stretch but she is made to fit slightly bigger. But if it's love get on her quick because she is popular!
Next up is Halo 50's dress, our pastel rainbow princess dress.
What a sweet little stunner the Halo is!
I am a bit in love with the Halo it's true. Is it the soft pastel rainbow? Is it the sweetheart neckline with cap sleeves? The fact she looks great with or without a petticoat? Or is it that she has pockets?
It's all of the above. Anyone who has spoken to me in the shop will know I love a dress with pockets. I rave about any and all dresses with pockets. The fabric has a slight bit of stretch so I would recommend sticking to your sizing on the bust and waist for the Halo!
Pastel rainbow print... does it get any cuter than that?!
Next up is a cute little playsuit, The Pretty Playsuit from Pretty Retro

A front and back view of our Pretty Playsuit in Vintage Floral!

Can we talk about how pretty this blue is? I love it not too dark not too light. This blue is just right and the floral print. Subtle enough that you could get away with wearing her at work with a light summer skirt.

The perfect romper for summer! She's light weight and perfect for day to night looks. Emulating 40s style playsuits, she has some gorgeous retro embellishments, 3 large white constant buttons. a vintage style collar and turn up sleeves and shorts. Pair her with heel or platforms and rock the beach to party look.

Last and by certainly no means least we have the Gayle Plain Blue Swing Dress
She is a truly customizable piece that you can dress up and down!
While she might be simpler than the other outfits in this list don't dismiss the Gayle dress. She is a shirt dress, light and easy to wear and has pockets! You can grab her from the wardrobe and you're pretty much ready to go! She has a wonderful floatiness to the skirt perfect for summer evenings at a garden party. Pair her with some statement pieces to blow the crowd away.
That's all for my favourite picks for summer parties. Are they pieces you would wear? If not why?
Next Blog post will be all about wedding guest outfits.

See you all soon.
